Can you eat the food you love and still drop weight?

I love to eat sweets and carbs. Every day I like to eat, bread, chips, chocolate, or my favourite desserts. At the same time I want to lose weight. Now that is a tricky situation.

How can I get to my healthy weight and keep consuming my favorite food?

Therefore, I altered the way I ate and not what I ate.

I must say you can shed pounds while enjoying your flavours that you love, if you eat consciously.

Instead of going in for any trending diet plans it is better to focus on changing and not replacing any current food habits. This realistic approach helps to develop a feasible lifestyle to achieve and sustain healthiest weight. And the best part is, you can still enjoy your favourite eateries. Here’s how you can do it:.

01. Enjoy balanced portions of everything:

Everyone has different favorite foods, but whatever they might be, keep eating them. Just because you love eating something doesn’t mean you have to get rid of it when trying to get a right weight. If you are lover of sweets and carbs then make sure that it’s balanced with plenty of vegetables, fruit, and protein. Five dark chocolate of Hershey’s Kisses are around a hundred calories, the perfect size for chocolate lovers. A low-carb wrap is about a hundred calories as well, a great solution for wrap lovers.

Similarly, New York–based chef Pasquale Cozzolino lost weight while daily consuming his food du jour pizza. By making a recipe for a controlled size, he shares, “It lets you feel satisfied, and because it’s only 540 to 570 calories, it’s a perfect and fast solution for a lunch or dinner.” Therefore eat what you viciously love but with awareness and self-control.

02. Moderately intense exercise:

“Move more, eat less,” is the motive.

Everyone has different body weight but jogging a few miles can help burn calories effectively. It will also make it easier to stick to new diet and let you start your day with high energy. It will improve your metabolism as well.

03. Find your ‘empty calories’:

Empty calories are any foods that add up calories without filling up your stomach or satisfying your cravings for food. Find what ingredients you can do without, and lower their intake.

04. Keep to a boring daily diet:

In a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, women were given the same macaroni and cheese food either on daily or weekly basis. Those who ate it as a everyday meal ended up consuming less at each meal because of the habit-forming impact of a boring diet.

05. Eat Snacks:

Eating light yet tummy filling snacks will help you between meals as you aim to control your size of food.

07. Try to be veggie lover:

As veggies are low on calories yet high in flavor and fiber, they fill you up According to U.S. Dietary guidelines  healthy diet is always high in veggies. They also help control heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.

For a dinner, try to prepare a small portion of protein rich food and include some vegetables.

To conclude, finding and keeping your healthy weight doesn’t mean not to consume the foods you love. It’s all about eating in moderation.
